in istria is a little bit better -3 and bora with 35-45 kt ,no problem with tide and see ice

No, he's not mad, he's just a tough guy! 

The spot was Grado Pineta, - we have never seen sea-ice there before.. However the wind has been blowing strongly and ice-cold for quite some time now, enough to create sea-ice in the shallow areas.. More offshore the water was nearly ice-free.  Unfortunately I was too late out due to huge problems with the zip of my very old PVC dry-suit, so we didn't get two posts that day.. Due to the rapidly lowering tide, he had also to carve his board like a kiteboarder in order to avoid grounding his 28cm weedfin.. - like I said, he's a tough guy!! 

I hope to be able to have two posts from the same day soon so we can enter fully in the game..

welcome italy to the team challenge !!

in belgium 2 riders of our team also went surfing. as it was -8 degrees and so cold for +1 week now they went ice-sailing

my limit for surfing is 7 degrees if no rain and not too much wind.

Jurez unseasonally cold across Europe but dealing with ice just sounds dangerous. Take care and keep warm!!!!!
