Queens Lake, NSW, AU.....Fanatic Skate 109 freestyle board, Weedy, 6.5m wavesail

Even gustier than yesterday!!!!!!  Was best during the rain squalls, that was when I got my fastest runs. When the wind was cranking in, got awesome planing runs from the North East side all the way to the far South West side of the lake. First time I have been over there.  When the wind stopped it was a nature spotting exercise with a flock of black swans, a couple of white bellied seaeagles and a few jumping mullet and rays.

Sailed with Phil and Steve. Greg, Dion and Nick turned up late, but by the wind out the window now, if they are still out it could be good for them

It came back in!  Finally a little bit of wind - woohoo!!  Something very wrong with my tuning of the 6.7 and a lot to learn though.  Horrifically uncomfortable and lots of hard work.  But finally some sweet sweet wind...  Glad Adam and Phil left me something!  Sorry Dion and Greg couldn't stay!

Thanks all for the comments.

Welcome back Nic. Congrats on your PBs. Look fwd to you getting off the battleship and onto the FSW and pushing the PBs further. Good on you for getting out so late yesterday too! Big call considering you had a 1.5hr drive home! For the love of the sport - I know, I know Laughing

If I could just find more than 12 knots and trade these wavey rdms that Adam talked me into for some decent speed gear... ;-)
