Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

Falcon 104 Blade 7m Select 37

Rigged the 7m cos i've been underdone on the past few occaisions

at Burrum (need a windmeter on the last mark).Began to have second

thoughts as Phil came in to get his speed board, when i got out on the speed

course i thought wtf am i doing out here on a 7m.

Left the 6.3 at home so had no choice but to stick with the 7.

After a few runs got dialed in and managed ok (going upwind was a bugger tho).

Thought i had a better 2s (Arnold must of switched GT31s).

Ecstatic with the two pbs, been after a 20knot alpha ever since Dart only just got one.

Thanks for the concern  guys after my extended swim.

JP xcite ride 130; Ezzy infinity 6.5; Select lightning 41cm:

Good sail with Geoff-R, Starboardsailor, Phil (Moreton Bay MOB) and Wongi. Hit a couple of fish and one managed to re-crack the lightning fin (who says lightning never strikes twice!), still managed to stay on the board both times! Great to see Phil enjoying the flat water. Safe trip to Herby and Lyn (FNQ MOB) on their travels home. Must catch-up at the Kairi Pub one day.. Maybe a road trip with the new van!Cool

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. iS 111, NP 8.6 Pretty strong wind but slammed a knee in the gusts after hitting a fish. The Select fin came half out of the base but really lucky I wasn't on the iS97

Changed down to the Ezzy 7.0. Hit something again in the lake and now the thigh on the other leg is buggered as well.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. iS97, Ezzy 5.2 & SO9 33

A gusty sail there with Redbear & Charlie1. They had bigger sails and it was gusting over 20. Glad I had the small sail up.

I was happier when they came in & said to me they were overpowered in the gusts!!!

Thanks Doctor Darryl for looking at the file for me.

Not sure what happened to my file today. It is at the doctors getting fixed up (I hope).

Welcome to the team Charlie1. Congrats on the PB's Redbear and Wongi. Hey Graham, I reckon that new GT31 has made you go a knot or two faster!

Jeffro, I'm not surprised your GT31 is sick, I'd get crook too if I was stuck to your mast for 5 hours every day!Wink
