Damo (1699km): ![]() Melville Beach, WA, AU F2 SX 111lt,7.5 O.D,40 Deb SL2 Rigged too big and paid the price,a nice dismount and a hyper extension of the knee which is feeling sore now. Should have packed some smaller sails but was dubious of the forecast Good to catch up with Anita who was wise rigging small

JJ (6448km): ![]() Woodmans Point, WA, AU Gusty 15 - 22 knots, too much traffic again on the strip to get good speeds. Actually just as fast today starting at the sandbank and sailing out on port tack. A good place for the NM - the swells line up pretty well out towards the shipping channnel. F2 SX 81, Hot Sails GPS 6.6, Black Project Speed Weed 28 (perfect today in the chop).
scarrgo (6801km): Melville Beach, WA, AU had a study break started off quite fresh and slowly got light hoooooooollllllllllyyyyy SH!T i knew there was an awesome alpha in this kit all up everything felt great today even though the wind wasn't very consistent but hey thats normal melville couldn't quite get the good hour in, i made a couple of attempts but was too patchy on the outside of the bar and even on the inside was impossible to stay on the plane with the 5.0 for an hour

Windxtasy (2881km): Melville Beach, WA, AU 85 Sonic, 4.9 K, 26 Choco weedy Had a look at Pinnaroo this afternoon (as I was up that way) but decided against it as I only had the slalom gear with me, and the dodgy bent boom, which I didn't feel confident to use on the ocean. So back to the safety of the river and my Melville buddies. Flukiest wind ever, 5 - 20 and back in 5 seconds, but fun in the gusts. I really like this fin. It really skips along and feels like it has no drag at all. I felt like I was going really fast even if I wasn't.
Birdman (1819km): ![]() Pelican Point, WA, AU Manta 69, NP V8 6.5 42cm JP What a pleasant change having some steady breeze. Couldn't believe I was getting strong, steady wind from Peli all the way to within about 250m of the starting line at South Perth yacht club - totally stoked. Great after-work session.

lao shi (27489km): ![]() WW from Mossie Tried hard for the hour but as Windxtasy said 5-20 knots. Some good bullets at times and two 30+ 2sec without really going for bear aways. Wind died about 5.40. Brief visit from Troutty and the Slow one. LB7,460,Bubba,CF42 Well done on the corner, Scarrgo!
Grumpy (5762km): Safety Bay, Captian suggested we go for an hour so I got stuck into some nice long runs from penguin island and back down into the bay. Quite happy with the PB considering I had a crash in the middle of the hour. I had a few cracks at the speed strip but not really enough wind for any good speed and my big fin is very draggy. All up a very enjoyable sail.

nebbian (8209km): ![]() Cottesloe, WA, AU The wind wasn't as strong as I would have hoped, but it was still fantastic to blow away the cobwebs on the wave gear. Man I needed that. |
