First started off on the medium kit as the wind was marginal and after a good hr the wind kicked in ,  which i thought would have come in late arvo !!!!

Managed a couple 33 on the dial but way to choppy and the sail and fin started to get too big, so went in to change to a 7.0 and as i was watching the wind getting stronger i said man its time for the speed kit , went to try out the top half of the shallows  at wello due to the tide still being too high for passing the beacon runs , some nice bullets came through but still pretty choppy and most of the runs where done a bit further out due to better wind the chop was sitting consistantly around 40 to 50 cm so was pretty good to go for it as the chop was very short from one to the other ...

I reakon on one run had a cracker gust and hit 39 very quick but out of no where some rolling swells formed which got me airborn in a second and in that time quickly unhooked and thankfully landed good but destroyed the run to get a good 40+  arghhhh Yell...

I wish i had my new 5.8 now would have made a big difference comparing to the old patched up 5.8 ive got now!!!!

I only managed 6 runs due to the tide dropping , dam......

6.3 blade,AB+95, 32 venom. A few good gusts, a bit much for the 6.3 in the end. Was feeling a bit rusty after not being out in i'm guessing 3 weeks. The Grand, Southport, QLD, AU

gee I havnt sailed in that much wind for years good thing i put the 5.6 in the car this morning.

gusting to 35 out past the 3rd becon and wild an rough, pretty crazy stuff really.

half the time i was backing off or unhooked and still was doing 40.

it did flattern off later but so did the wind. best runs were early.

Gear Blade 5.6, IS54, SS25 first run on the 5.6

Spot record I thinkSmile
