Nice ANZAC day sail. Was up nice and early for the dawn service up in town. Quick scoot home only to find Inverloch bathed in sunshine!!!??! what's going on? its never sunny with a SW blowing.
Started on my 6.6 Koyote, the wind picked up quite a bit so came in and changed down to my 5.9. First time ive used my new 430 skinny mast, LOVED IT!! Sail feels unreal, so responsive and light. Really happy with it.
Was pretty tired so packed up and then Kato, Mal & Rupert rocked up... so i rigged up again and was back out there with them.
Really high tide, massive chop running in a couple of different directions, really hard to pick a line through it, but great sail. exhausted now, its hard work sailing in chop like that.
SW approx 20-22kts, 5.9 Koyote, isonic 86slim, 30cm venom

Wind picked up later in the session but as the tide rose the flat water turned crappy. Very shallow at low tide.
