Futura 122, 7.8m Lightning, 44cm Canefire, Telescoping 460 Tushy Mast.

Had a few nice runs before my 460 Tushingham mast imploded. Managed to sail home and avoid a long swim followed by a long walk. Thanks to Doc Michael and Glenno for the help.

Reasonable session though I arraived late...wind was very up & down.....plenty out enjoying the first little breeze for a while.. Didn't get the 1 hr since the GPS switched itself off so I had to restart it and it created another file...grr.....NM with 1 gybe in part 2 was quicker than the NM with no gybe in part 1. Nice to get out there...

7.5M T4 & 109Lt Naish Titan & LE Weedie the FW Weedie

Got tired of battling to hold up the 7.5 in no wind so opted for a smaller rig & played in the shallows.

Rigged 6.5M T4, 94Lt Exocet Cross & FW Weedie.

Had quite good fun looking for a gust & staying relatively dry LaughingLaughing

First sail for more then 4 weeks, so very enjoyable getting out for a blast, even  in the gusty-light conditions.

109L Naish Titan with 7.5 T-bird

104L Exocet Cross with 7.5M T-bird

Tried various fins in varios boards with various resultsSurprised

Topped the day off with a demo of an RRD Firestorm 111L with the 7.5M T-bird & 38 Vector.

Very nice board, does everything nice, upwind, downwind, even jumpingTongue out

Gybed like it's on rails, got my best gybe for the day on itLaughing

Fastest speed was on the AHD, only just but.

Had a nice long drag race with Glenno, neck & neckCool

Been a while since we had some decent wind so nice to get out.

Futura 111, Lightning 7.8, CF 38 - The GPS went through some water torture today, locked up.....Frown Could of sworn I saw 32 knots on the display, or was that 25?Undecided Never felt comfortable today and had a nice walk back from kite beach. But it was better than not!Laughing

Annie posting for Jacqui until she sorts her log in.

Welcome Laughing

7.8 Severne Reflex III, Isonic 135, Flying Objects Nitro 42.

Downhauled to 482, mast base 2 cm forward of max aft.

A productive session with Rowan, Steve and Chris all out on the water to race against.  Setup didn't feel great- in retrospect I probably should have pulled on those extra couple of centimetres of downhaul.
