Keef (7729km): Culburra Beach, NSW, AU typical southerly all huff and no puff custom,venom30,N/P EVO1116.2
bushfire (6668km): Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU. Primbee - S-SW about 15knots or so with occasional 20 knot gust. Almost a desperate sail that ended up OK. The wind didn't really come in, so it was a bit hard at times to get planing. The R3 7m is a gem, making the most of the wind! Although the alpha is nothing to write home about I was pleased that the minimum gybe speed was only 5 knots below the result. Out with Terry (I want to be a gybe buoy), Anibal (I don't want to sail with you guys) , and Leo (I'll go faster if I remember to bring my fins). JP SS 109, SV R3 7, Limey weedy
rob (422km): Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU went to the lake not much good, too gusty and inconsistant, suppose that is the price we have to pay for wednesday.myself and greg packed up as 3 people headed out from primbee, possibly you glen.after that i thought i would go up to botany and got a couple more hours sailing in.the wind up there has been better than the lake in a southerly ,that is the second time lately it has happened.wasnt trying to do speed runs just practice gybing(i really need a lot more practice).anyway there is another westerly on saturday i might have to try and get out of work somehow.
TEX (884km): I sould have used my 160L board and RS8.4 sail. Conditions were not that good. Bic 118L RS6.7 |
