It was crazy diamond shape bumps out there today. It was a real challenge just keeping the board on the water.

Just managed to catch a little of the sand bank as the wind came in. Not much of a low tide today, the strip was very choppy.
Still a nice sail with Conan.

430 car loaded headed don south
not the best start to the morning as I forgot my fins fortunatley I left a couple on the boards but it did'nt give me much choise with conditions
due to picking up a BRAND NEW RS 5m yesterday from Sam @windsurfnsnow and a NEW GPS ;-) I was Itching to rig it it as showin25-30 at point perp so got all exited and rigged the new sail with a nice X9 mast x9 boom what a treat this is going to be
Headed out had a few runs to get setteled and all of a sudden the pin drops out of the mast base ;-( I go one way with the new sail and the board goes the other about 8m away .. this usually is not a prob as i'm sailing in anke deep water but for once in my life though I go explore the chop for a bit of fun as there wasn't that much for speed sailing .
so bac to it do I leave the brand new sail go get board and risk loosing the lot ? na held on lost the board insted that floted away into the abis very quick in fact wilst i was left smimming for the next 45-60 mins Not the best start to the day very cold in fact and not to mention tyring !
I made it back derigged made a few calls to local boys just to be on the look out fortunatley terry was walking his dog about 2 km away and came across it ;-) next minuit it was back safe n sound ;-)
thanks to terry and tex for the help and consurn and board retrival
wind backed off heaps by the time I'd had my morning swim ;-( so headed out on the 6.7 and falcon fun day !!
looks like the boys up noth got it better lets hope for some good numbers

Great little session with the boys. Didnt get the predicted Sth winds so no speed runs. We had a SE most of the time with a swinging sse which means Plenty of big chop fun with Milsey.

Great day but bugger about the direction. Too much E and bit miserable at times. Lots of punters as some of the Roaches tried to get the Tassie boys but pipped at the post. Good to see we can match it with the top teams. Very choppy at times, the knee copped it from the bounce. Very sore now, ice on. By the time the wind swung it was too sore. Wysey was on a mission staying on a smaller board, well done big fella.
The boys tried hard to the end, I think I sailed more in April than the whole last couple of months. So close.

Pretty gusty out there this arvo and boats can be a problem, but an awesome sail with Seano, Chris Cross and Dave Howe. Some good runs to be had and a great new spot recommended by Chris C. And the man can gybe! Here's my contribution for the team. Fingures crossed!
