4584 days ago A cold arvo sail at Invy with Ado, Daz joined us latter once the rain slowed to a drizzle. Started with us thinking of rigging 6.6 and we ended the day on flatened 5.0s. Lots and lots of rain turned the inlet a nice mission brown color making it hard to find sand bars so sailing at 45 was out. The aim was to sail the entrance along the sandbar at low tide except not enough water went out leaving us with swell and chop cutting across the course. Not fun in the twilight conditions that we had. Did one fully lit Nm run with the 5.7 which scared me straight back to the beach and rig the 5. Way too much wind and way too broad. Tried the CA40 with a TM26 too much fin, i must get a small sym fin. Ended back on the Sl52,with the Venom 30 dancing through the chop, ok square but scary off the wind. Had a great side by side run with Ado until he spun a little sideways Gave him a bit more room after that. Great to have some good wind for a change, now just need to turn off the rain. Had gusts to the high 30s with the entrance another 10kt
