A fun day down at the Angling Club with most of the usual crew. Just enough wind, then a great night for the "end" of season bash. The BML would like to thank you all.

Xcite 46cm Supersport fin - thanks Mick.  Was a challenge at low tide and murky water.  Couple of over the handle bars. 

End of Season Bash and first post for Brass Monkeys - Yipee!!

In the morning took the Jet out but did not set my GPS right.  Oh well.  Reckon I got a 12 kts - lot of fun.

Afternoon on the Xcite.  Fun on both boards.  Jet is incredible for 20 plus years old.

Wally in the outer channel while the wind was light, 12.5Knots

Then changed to the Rocket 145, 7.0Kult & 48fin as the wind filled in a bit. Deep angles showed the good speeds as the tide rose in the inner channel.

LOCATION: ANGLING CLUB

GEAR:  Starboard 12'6, KA KOYOTE 8.2

DETAILS:  Not bad for a day where the wind was meant to die!..  Nice gentle 10-ish knots with a few higher puffs.  Went on a cruise up the Inlet, out the back and then surfed in...the swell had a bit of height to it!.

The breeze was reasonably consistant although it backed off the moment  started to sail in to change down to smaller gear.

Great light wind day shooting around the inlet...

On the Starboard Drive 9'6" Sup with KA Koyote 7.4.... started off heading up toward the mouth of the inlet, then practiced how to dodge wayward gybes from other sailors whilst mucking about in the small waves (Thanks Mick!@#$)....then back along the bank for some planing fun on the sup.
