Green Island, QLD, AU Wind sse 20-28knots

Gear Jp50 speed ss23 rsre3

Stoked -sailed with vando /kel/troy/billy gi

Really great condiitons -stopped sailing when the 23ss started clipping the reef.

Think vando may have just pipped me on the last run

Bob and I went for a look see hoping the wind might be ok ......where is the wind if you have a strong wind warning!!!!

Anyway Tony was there and had a sail with him before the wind dropped to nothing.

Waited for a while but no luck.

Kurrime Beach, Naish 120FW. Infinity 7.0, MFC 34

Wind was up and thinmking might be a bit overpowered as I only had the 7.0 sail and others had rigged smaller. Still had a few good runs and sail felt good but half hour into it the wind began to ease so packed up.

Green Island, QLD, AU GEM 2.7 Rapidfire 6.25m 300x70 Clifford alloy fin.

Another great day in paradise. Stuffed up not turning my GPS off, so the NM belongs to the ferry and added a few extra k's.

Some drunk lept from the ferry on the way back because they took  his drink away from him apparently. Dinners on the table.

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU....Decided to do a day trip to Kurrimine Beach .     A high tide sail made it a bit on the rough side, but at least I didn't have to worry about running aground.      ....Luca and Pacman called in on their way home to Townsville.     Rossco was there and also Mal Faulkner and a couple of friendly kiters.

100 Minutes on the 116 Screamer and 6.6m Loft 02 gave me plenty of waterstart practice.

Cold, wet and a slogfest but got to try my brothers recently purchased iS137.  Felt great and very different to the iS117W

Great day sailing the eastern run with Cam, Troy, Billy, Peter and Vando!

Had a 39.79 on the dial but the softwere killed it!

Still very happy with the speeds but might have gone faster with the 6.0! Very powered up with the 6.7 and a bit untidy on the run in to the bank!

CA 50 Sliongshot 21 Overdrive 6.7Cool

What a great set of numbers guys - well done on securing top spot on the ladder - can't get much better than single figures.

Troy,  You utter utter bastard - 3 months into GPS sailing and on old gear you go out a smash an incredible 2 sec and 5x10.  Congratulations you must be very stoked.

Billy GI & Peter, Congrats on your PB's too.

Kel, Nice numbers although must have been a lot of chit chat with that hour Wink

Cam, You're the man.  Bloody incredible numbers again and a near 31kn Nm

Troy,

Just noticed in Pacman's photos on SB you were using a KA Kult. Did you have a Koncept as well or only the Kult?  If so your speeds are all the more impressive - well done again.

Photo was for the 23rd. Phil's koncept was the goods. nice and stable. really pissed about going through it today. The Sputnik certainly showed potential, was really nice driving upwind, but a bit over finned running deep. Chop a foot off the nose and you would have a modern speed board. Pretty happy given that was the first time for board, sail, fin. I,ll give it a rest for a while. Too expensive.

Just home after 10hrs on the road. Worth every second. Thanks Kel and Belinda for your hospitality.

Risk, the sea urchin wounds were good as gold the next day. It was the extra two days of coral cuts that is giving me the most grief. I need to harden up.

Monday was nearly as good, just no sunshine and problems with slower traffic failing to check over the shoulder before gybing into your path.

Looking forward to a weekend of repairs.
