A fun afternoon with the team on flat water. The wind was mainly coming through in channels, although early on there were a couple of times when the whole area was filled in with wind - great for NM work. I had fun chasing Mike T at times - very similar speeds. Also was a good afternoon to focus on the one-hour - could have been better as I duffed a couple of gybes.
iSonic 76, NP V8 6.5, Black Projects Weed Speed 28/45 - a nice combination

4557 days ago Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU today i had a lucky day, lucky i got back before dark "attention members" i'm not sure if all the team is aware of another team south of the borer sending spies up to check up on our location,Leo has been creating a bit of interest down south with his times, i have mentioned to him too slow down a bit other wise we will have every redneck in the country checking this place out, the last time i sailed it was a tall red haired dude and today another one showed up, i'm not mentioning any teams but i'm sure the ringleader has spots, out of hospitality i offered this guy issacc a weed fin, "try and slow him down" but declined, if the winds up tomorrow ill try and squeeze a bit more info out of him ,

Really, Really, REALLY up and down today...The first time I've used a cammed sail in a long time. It was rather good early in the day with my 7.5 and 120L board, Just cruised all morning until the wind kicked in and it was too much for my big sail. While I came in to change down and have some luch the rest of the team was out making the best of the strongest wind of the day. I spent the rest of the day on my Twinzer/Quad just testing some new Makani Twin weed fins, The twin fins were just awesome in the shallow weedy conditions...I'll be using this more often on the lake from now on. Anther good showing from the team, Great to be on the water with them yet again.
