Really Fun day at the island today!!

Nice wind around 20kts and good tide made for a great day for exploring the reef flat. Found a new favorate place on the island that is just like sailing Arlington only shorter and much safer to get to, which was handy as my old trusty 34 Venom snapped off at the base while on the run! 

Tried body dragging and sailing with harness tied to the back of the board to get down wind and back to the island until Gaz came out with a new fin! Thanks Gaz!!! And thanks Cam for the Sting 2 which felt better than the Venom anyway.

Used 2012 Isonic 90 Venom 34, Sting 2 34 and Overdrive 6.0!

Green Island, Isonic 87, Talon 32, 5.7 Koncept.

Wind had dropped even more from yesterday so raided Toodys hire gear for the Isonic. Should have rigged the 6.4 but have been having to much fun on the 5.7 so went with the big board small sail setup instead. Was probably slower than the 6.4, CA53 combo would have been but a lot more  fun for cruising the reef flats.
