A very quick session at the Pit. On the water by 6.45 and off by 9.20 and back at work by 10.30. Managed to get in 8 runs with the last run a 44 peak, but then i had to bail. Hopefully it all fires again on Thursday for round 2.

Early start at the Pit to get the good wind and a few runs in before low tide at 10am. On the water by about 7.15am - packed up at about 11.30am when the woop de doos got scary and the muscles were flogged. Fun day with a small hardy crew of lads. Not too tropical but great fun. Good to break the 40 knot hoodoo - first time over since smashing up my nose last July! Lots of runs a bit over 40 today but not enough to push up my 2sec. Some smoking speeds from Kato, Ado and Stacey.

F2 Missile XS 53L, KA Assy 20cm, KA Koncept 4.4 - sometimes powered up but wasn't overpowered at all today. Could have gone the 5m really, but too cold and lazy...

edit - 5x10 corrected to .738 (earlier .378 was a typo!)

Nice session guys and congrats on the PB Peter.  I can only dream............

Martin,

In lieu of a weed fin you may need a poo fin to sail Sankey tank (actually it didn't look too bad last Oct when I was there)

Great idea Sausage, the Turd Terminator.  Yep the water around here is major dodgy but I reckon the Turd Terminator could come in handy at Elwood after a heavy rain as well,  it,s not called Pookipa for nothing!!!

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Snags, looking at your PBs, I reckon that given some Sandy Point type flat water and a 30knot wind that you'd blitz the 40 knot barrier readily! We are just lucky having it on our doorstep - while it lasts...
