Was gonna sneak away for a cheeky BMC session, but didnt want to miss out on what was forecast to be a great invy session.  Best sail i've had at invy since summer, not fast but great runs everywhere on the high tide.

Went and played with Kato out across the surf, some big swell out there and over the bars the waves were coming from all directions meeting in the middle and was shooting water up.  Bit of fun until the wind looked like dropping out so did a big down winder back.

WInd picked up again after a bit of a snack so back out and just cruised around.  The tide started to drop and i found a nice little bank that was int he perfect spot for the wind direction, had a few runs on it until the inlet started loosing too much water.

Awesome play today, I needed that.  Its been too long.

Lumpy, bumpy, choppy session on the inlet.  A couple nice runs, but still tweaking, raising boom, adjusting lines etc...fun day and good to see so many of the crew out on the water.

it was blowing 40-50 knots this morning, the smallest rental board was a 101 futura with a 38cm fin - thought I should work on my suntan for awhile considering the chop. PWA slalom is here next week, so went down to watch the local Turkish pre-curser event. (200m up the 'beach'). By the time we got back it was a nice 5 to 25 knots. The 101 boards had gone, so went for a cruise on a 111 and 6m Convert (severne)

GEAR:  Ca FR 77, C3 VENOM 44, KA KOYOTE 8.2

DETAILS;  After doing some runnig around I missed the low tide, so it became a day of tweaking.  The chop  wasnt too bad and the ful tide meant you could run anywhere.  Decided to stay on the big gear and tune up the sail/ harnes line/ boom psition.  Didn't get the sweet sopt so I need a few more sessions on it.

Suprisingly I wasnt overpowered on the 8.2..there were one or two moments where it got a bit backhanded but not too much.

Had a nice run with Roy going flat out neck and neck over the section that is normally too shallow to run.  The bugger stole my wind and got passed me on the high side and by the time I got claer air, I lined him up but the wind died.  Oh well, next time, he is a dead man!!!!!

Bit sore after today's sessions. Nailed some of my gbyes. Tried a few when the fin was spun-out...comical

110 Fanactic cross, 7.0 Kult, 38 Meanline fin. Had a go at the 79ltr but too many holes in the wind to stay up.

Mick's meeting with his doppelganger seaweed was a highlight.
