Soft feet Leo, get it deep off the wind then let it go, they do hold you just got to trust them. they take a slightly differant riding style to a normal fin. I've had 2 differant ones over 40 now.  I think they still have more as well, but they do need to have the right conditions. Catch ya soon

Yeah Jacques, my thoughts too about riding style with these fins. I reckon they require a "constant" backfoot pressure, that is they don't like being unloaded then loaded up again. I'm liking the 17.6 Slalom version on  the JP 49 more and more.  Less time with the 15 Speed but that will come.

I TOTALLY AGREE TO DISAGRE WITH YOU BOTH ;-) JACQUES YES IT CAN DO 40 MOST SMALL FINS CAN  .... AS YOU WELL KNOW THE SPEED COMES FROM THE SLING SHOT UNLESS YOU HAVE FLAT.. SUPER FLAT WATER FOR MORE THAN A KM THEN THE FIN MIGHT BE GOOD ,   BUT IF YOU ARE GOING FROM CHOP TO SEMI SMOOTH WATER FOR A 10SEC PEAK IN UNDER 500M THIS FIN IS NOT RELAIBLE YOU WILL DEF BE EATING CARBON    WITH JUST 20 CM OF ROLLING CHOP THAT FIN DOSE NOT HOLD OR GIVE YOU COONFIDANCE TO GO FAST IF YOU JUST TRANSFERE YOUR WAIT A LITTLE BIT IT GOES... SURE YOU CAN POINT IT DOWN WIND AND SIT THERE HOPING FOR A BIG GUST TO PICK U UP AND GET YA TO 40 BUT UNFORTUNATLEY WE DONT HAVE THOSE CONDITIONS ONCE IT GETS OVER 25KN WE HAVE CHOP. 

TODAY WAS SUPER FLAT FOR THE LAKE, WAS RUNNING IN LESS THAN 30CM OF WATER AND I WILL SAY IT DID GO WELL IN WEED BUT THATS A NO BRAINER REALLY WITH THE ANGLE OF  IT!!  COMES DOWN TO SLING SHOT AND CONFIDENCE AND IT DID NOT INSTILL ANY CONFIDENCE TO POWER UP  

ON THE OTHER HAND GO OUT FOR A CRUSE LIKE TODAY  IN SHALOW WATER WITH A SHIT LOAD OF WEEK U CANT BEAT THEM ;-) HAD A BALL
