Kyeemagh, S-SW 15-20 then gusting over 30

Starboard S-Type 104, KA Koncept 5.8, 32 Goldwing

It started off pretty light and patchy but then filled in to a really nice 18-20 knots for a couple of hours. It was supposed to gradually build, so I rigged a 5.8, but the wind just turned on with gusts over 30 and it was just too much. Good fun sailing with Artur.

Fun day out, thought I was going to pack up and go home with no sailing time. Then bingo the wind ariived, then went, the arrived, then went. THEN ARRIVED! While I was out there was a number of very big dead zones but when it was blowing it was really nice.

Great to be out, was having a really good sail but the day was cut short by broken battern. Only had two runs at the strip. The other fellas looked to be smokin, hope Capt Crash is okay.

Took ages for the wind to come in so I had to get home before it really filled in.  Got a few nice runs behind the speed strip in flat water though.  Had it all to myself for a while we the boys decided it was good enough to warrant them getting wet Wink

Fun day in the sun except for the wind. early start for a good looking forecast but just never really delivered. Wind finally arrived but due S. Not what we were hoping for. Water surprisingly Ok and some fun blats with the boys. Weed was a shocker even with weedies, kept getting stuck at gybes with big clumps everywhere. Still nice to get out sailing and catch up with everybody. Milsy was cranking out the k's and the bullshit as usual.

Yep,..... went out, with a sail & board & all that.(both probably too big in the end) There was wind, lots of it(in the end). Got smashed. Came back in. There were others, significantly better than me, sailing at the same time. Drank beers, when I got home. Reflected on the experience with a degree of content. The run home was the best! All good.Wink
