The last time I had sailed a speed board was back in January so it was nice to get a speed session under my belt before the best of the autumn winds arrive.

Today would have been better on my 5.5m but since that is in for repair I opted for the 6.2m which was the biggest of anyone on the water today!

When the winds picked up it was a bit on the large side but it was good fun and it gave me a chance to get re-acquainted with the sensation of speed.

No PBs in proper categories but I did manage to peak over >43 knots a couple of times and didn't have any crashes for a change!

I know i should have gone to kirby - i was going but then looked like only half a day sailing then fri night traffic home -bloody long way - so had a nice easy sail at local spot (point clear) not windy enough for top speeds so worked on my Alfa's an managed a 22+  pb for this year on the old Axis an simmer race 7 mtr -  put me a bit higher in the 'Legend'  class in team challenge

excerlent day at wesy kirby , broke the 40 knot milestone , well stoked , didnt quite get the 40 knot average but next time ill try harder :)
