Egg Island, Hyannis. High tide, so the sandbar was completely covered. Just missed the crazy wind with gusts above 40 mph, but low 30s was enough for me.

Fun day at Kalmus and the Egg Island slick... too bad it was under water all day!
I found a little flat water along a 30 meter stretch of sand to slingshot into hell chop.
10 second flat runs were impossible, but the 2 second bursts were exciting. cool
A 36+ knot burst on the GPS will keep the stoke alive for a little longer.

Dani, this would have been the day to hit 30 knots for you at Egg Island! Next time you see a WSW or SW forecast in the 20s and sun, come on out here!

You would have loved it Dani!
I think we found a good spot for Alphas but the 10 sec averages are blocked
by high dunes. Still a nice spot to get over 30 knots in big wind, (flat water + deep enough at high tide).

My software showed a peak speed of 37.18 knots right at the end of my slingshot.
Unfortunately I then slammed into the steep chop and slowed right down.

Good times in Kalmus for sure!Cool
