First try of the 5.0 Koncept. It was too small for the circumstances but it felt really great. Could just get in 5 runs before the wind decreased big time. Glad my shoulder did it's job!

Off-day. Voer zelf als een krant en kreeg de trim van de 5,7 veel te laat voor elkaar. Was weer voor het eerst sinds 3 januari dat ik hiermee kon varen en voor het eerst in deze combi op de FFS51. Toen ik het zo'n beetje voor elkaar had zakte de wind in.

Too bad but next time better!

Heavy session. Had a big crash a bit before 11.30h. Went with my head forward in the water and hit the bottom. I was lucky to wear a helmet. Was dizzy for a while and bent my boom. So walked back and took some rest to recover. After that went out for an extra hour from 12.30h. Too bad the wind dropped otherwise I could have made a PB. 

Departed from school at 11 and quickly went to Makkum where I started with the 5.6. I was hoping to have the perfect conditions on arrival but the wind had already turned towards WNW so I could only have two good runs before the water was too shallow. After this I waited for a while and Jan Hendrik arrived. We rigged our 6.2s and were able to catch some wind when it returned from WSW. We waited a long time but it didn't get as strong as we hoped it would. Overall a great day but not perfect.
