Michael Thomson (21372km): Kyeemagh, 20 knots S-SE Carbon Art SL58, Loft Switchblade 6.8, 32cm Goldwing it was a bit of a late start (daylight savings + late night) Luckily the wind didn't switch on until later when it swung south east and settled in at a nice 20 knots.
AlfaMale (2084km): Great day at Dolls point.. I wanted somewhere without a shadow in a SW, but also worked when the wind swung as it was due to swing SE. And the sandbar (taren point bridge) generally gets very gusty. Well, I certainly found the patchiness, and the tea-bags... but ended up having a great sail once the SE kicked in. Should have slept in longer!!!
Met a new friend (Dean) at Dolls Point. Then went over to Taren Point for a bit of a chat with some other sailors. Had a chat with Roar and Craig. After I packed up, went to Botany and saw Michael and a few others out on the water. Said G'day to Arthur as well... very social day, after sailing alone for so long.
At one point, a luxurious BayLiner was crossing my path.... so I slotted into the beautifully smooth wake line, and cranked it.... I ended up about 20m behind the boat, so I yelled out G'day. You should have seen the cap't's face... then he hit some chop and his lady friend scawled! So cool.... Then I steered up wind, overtook the boat, slowed and gybed. So much fun! Fun day, but a lot of massive HOLES in the wind. Sailed the 7.0m MauiSails TR all day, with RS2 when it was windy (32cm Nitro) and 104L Xcite ride JP with 35cm fin when it was less windy.

Larko (3629km): Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU Strange day, up early for dad duties so went out with Al G & Marty for a quick SW blat. Wind swung S and then very surprisingly went SE and we had a ball. Lots of runs just cruising along with some nicely powered runs. Gear too big at stages & very gusty. Beautiful on the water, warm, sunny & after the Pit very civilised Falcon 121, RSR Evo III 7.8, Sting II 44 & Weedster 36.
