Trial Bay SWRs. Strong nor-east (18-24 knts) ocean / wave sesh on JP FSW 101 and Gaastra Manic 5.7 wave sail. Pretty hectic really, messy ocean, chest to shoulder high waves, and plenty of high speed runs in. And some funny to watch high speed gybe practice on wave faces, made 3 from 12, so kinda happy with that. Heaps of water starts way out the back, practiced fast tacks and a few screaming (for meEmbarassed) runs in. Got my new PB top speed so stoked with that!

Hanging to get 6.0 Hot Sail, should smash (hopefully) this PB on flat water. In theory anyway....Cool

Phil Awesome  PB! 4 more knots and you will reach 30 Knots. You are doing so well for the short time you have been Windsurfing!

Awesome Mate!!!!

Woohoo Phil, you're kickin' arse! I was impressed with your weekend speed and you've PB'ed again! Top stuff. Slow down a bit ok so I have someone to sail with when I get back on a board in a couple of months!

Damn Phil....well done, that is a really good speed for rough ocean water - You are gunna do so good on flat water now you have those straps sorted out and a fast sail coming your way!!!! If ya new sail arrives on Friday and you pic it up from Mark J's, you should come for a run at Queens. Forecast looks alltime. Going to leave work at 230 gear allready packed. Dave is coming down for a run and leave port at the same time if it all comes to fruition. Will chat with you during the week mate - again - well done

Thanks Dion, hanging to get / use the Hot Sail from Mark J. Looks sweet online and a great price, and all reports they seem great. Hope to oneday reach 30 knots like all you guys. Still not sure how you do it.

Hey Raf, good to hear from ya. Yeah, slowly gettin' quicker. And still only running on 3 cylinders with my flat, pocket-less wave sail. Don't worry mate, I crash that often you'll easily catch up...lol

Hey Mr Easter.  Still buzzing at seeing those ocean swells being left behind, and then running off the back of waves and going air born coming in! All hail foot straps! What a big step forward getting into them has made! Not sure about Queens though, gotta work at 6 pm (1.5 hour run back with packing up etc), so will probably just hit Trial Bay with Garry (Thermo) simply due to time constraints. Yep, I'm sure I'll regrete it once I read everyones reports and speed Friday night...  Hope to pick up the sail off Mark Saturday morning. Cheers.
