Primbee, NSW, AU. Southerly, with gusts up to 35 knots.

An afternoon sail on the flats in front of the yacht club. It was a bit like threading the needle avoiding the weed clumps. the MU Delta fin certainly gives a lot of confidence when sailing in this sort of weedy conditions. Very happy to set this speed on my new board. A very sweet combo with the 5.6m sail.

Unreal 2 sec Bushfire, well done. Hope we get that southerly tomorrow. Apparently just hit Moreton Bay so hoping for some cooling winds here within the hour. And like what Isaac said no need to drive all the way to SP.

Hey Glen, amazing speed! I'm disappointed I couldn't make it, have to wait for the next big southerly, they seem to be coming pretty regularly now. Were you sailing to just to the leeward of that weed bank near the jetty?

It was pretty flat just behind the jetty, Keef, but got quite choppy further on - short sharp rolling chop - ouch! Bit of a lottery as to whether the gusts got through the jetty.

There were a lot of floating weed islands, John but a couple of nice channels from the jetty area down to Yacht shop direction. I had the JP in the car but missed Nudist and you, (hope the back gets better).

Awesome speed , save some wind for next month will be down there on the 16th and catch up , opens up another great spot , i stood at primbee thought about sailing in a big southerly but looked like a washing machine didnt think about sailing at that bottom end , your tracks looked awesome must have been shallow though
