Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU      Should have been sailing by 11 oclock, 20 kts plus, waited till 1 oclock, rigged 5.3 then the cloud

                                          covered the Sun and that was the end of the day. Gave the bay one more go, to flukey, needs big wind.

Dejavu - slightly more wind, futura 101, 6.7 Hellcat, just Dad, Knighty and me on the water - less S swell than yesterday so slightly cleaner water

tried hard to keep the spped up for an hour - almost broke the 20kn, but still take 19+

Mike, I saw you off sandon as I was coming down Bulli pass around 15:50, also just caught a huge splash not far from you that looked like a whale broaching? Did you see any whales out there?

Mark and I went off Corrimal, I was on 5.8 and Mark on 6.3, nicely powered up till it started dying around 18:30

Terry, come off shore where the wind is! Also, you don't need to do 30+ kts out there to feel like you're going fast Smile

Knighty and Dad saw some once they got in - aparently i wasn't far away but way too enjoying my sail to see anything!!

missed seeing any on the water - we also saw some (de-rigging) on Monday

kinda jealous now i know you guys were at Corrimal

coming down on the 15th for a few days staying wollongong leisure park , looks good for an ocean bash
