Mitja (1789km): Ribic, jugo, manta, isonic 94, maui sails 5.5, slingshot 25 Great day at the water with other Lufters! Managed to catch some wind and it felt great. Then the rain came and the fun was over. All in all, great time with best friends on the water. We were stoked and the locals were very friendly. At the end, there was a big mess on the water and on the beach. Many kiters and wave, freestyle windsurfers, so it was hard to predict all the moves. Also kiters were flying on the land. Dangerous :-o
Marko Kavcic (2149km): isonic 94, mauisails tr8 5.5, slingshot 22 little up and little down the wind was shifting until it decided that it will blow some more... coming to speed spot was a sport in itself and returning back as well. on the speed spot it was easy but because the wind was more going over the hill it was not consistent. but then again here it is rarely consistent... happy with surfing, it was great to enjoy with other bremzers, it was quite a day - could say I'm stoked. And even more happy with Mitch who made his PB and also Marko the Captain who reached for 40 in the Norhtern Adriatic but missed it for just a touch! Great surfing guys!!!
Marko CRO-133 (4568km): Savudrija/Piran Bay Falcon 80 - Blade 6.3 - C3 Sting2 30 Jugo 20-40 knots Hell yeah! ;) Finally new PB for me! Forecast was wrong about the wind direction - it was just a bit to much south direction so the "speed spot" behind the wall was way to much downwind and WAY to much rolling chop. We found only 200-300m of useable path and that was nice but gusty! After whole morning of trying my best in flatwater (my speed was only about 37 knots), I finally beared off into the chop and 39.86 showed on my display :) Scary stuff!!! Then I wanted more but the wind just shifted away from the coast to the open sea and there was no more wind left. Outside it was nukin' so it was extremely overpowered downwind home trip. Glad I am still in one piece! Great to see Mitko made his PB, and Marko was also blasting around but he had to left early. Oliver (official speed record holder for Croatia) also came to visit us with his speed gear! The only thing that I am sorry is that I did not took the Slingshot instead of Sting. I think it would be much easier in chop.
