iS97, 6.3 Blade, 35 S07 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU  NNE 21 - 27kn

Much more manageable today although ocean was just as messy and with outgoing tide and current from Ross Creek making for some interesting conditions over near main beach.  Extremely surprised with my numbers as I had 4 10sec runs all over 30knots.  Got bucked off on a wicked piece of chop 1400m into my Nm which I think would have been high 27 / low 28s.  Anyway much more enjoyable sail today as opposed to yesterday's.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

F2 sx 90lt, 5.8 stealth, 28cm f2 speed.

f2 missile, 5.8 stealth, c3 slingshot 23cm.

Wow what a day!!! Dialled in gear and it felt great. 15 to 25 kts (ish) straight off the beach at melvilles and took the right gear so i could run over the shallow sections, it was shallow and i dont want to know how much i missed the bottom by....... First up on the Sx and 5.8m with the 28 f2 speed and then the MISSILE and the C3 slingshot 23 cm. It was gusty all day and i seem to get the run in the gust which was great. Maybe a bit under done on the 5.8 but needed it for the fin. Couple of runs on the missile but was never enough wind but it was fun.

When that was all over i saw Peter Volwater (PWA TOUR) so i watched him and Chris lockwood for a bit. He waas on the new Advantis Race sails and man dont they look sexy!!

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Koncept 6.6, iSonic 86, Volt 32

Crowded on the river today, nearly didn't get a park at Peli Point and was about to head over to Melville when someone left. Counted 48 sails at one point, plus all the kites. Stoked with my speeds, PB for this spot by a long way. Pulled out of the Nautie way too early though, have to go further next time!

Squiddy, well done on the PB's mate - looks like WA is treating you and Ricky well.  Next time though I want to see you get your 2 sec PB at Melville Wink

Ricky, more like a broken down old steam engine than machine.  My knees are telling me this morning to back off a littleFrown  Nice speeds for you too.

Well done on the PB's Jarrod, you really were steaming along out there today. Nice to meet you at last! I was watching you zoom past me with your purple Koncept and I was thinking "I don't know who that is (I know most of the speed sailors, especially the ones with Koncepts), I must go and say Hi after".
