Xcite 120 Koncept 6.6 JP Weedie - thanks to Anthony

IWC League racing with the Geelong Crew.  About twenty rocked up and 12 raced.  Great road trip and some fun on the water.  Great to see Big Ted get in both straps.  Robbie take a very old needle shaped slalom board 80 - 90 ltrs out with a 7.5 mtr sail and got it going.  As expected Jacques did not wear a dress and smoked us all on the water followed closely by Red.  The concept worked well and I would like to see the Club do it again.  The funniest thing in one race I was smoking my group but could not find the bottom marker.  I sailed 200 mtrs past it whilst they found it!!  Oh and I lead Jacques at one point - only because I jumped them on the start!!

Good times pseudo-racing with the Geelong crew. Bounced between Simmo's Bic Techno 150 and the Rocket 105 with 6.7 saber.

If Jacques can just make it a bit deeper round the gybe mark next time....

Great day.... ! Even clocked a PB for the nautical mile on my newly-acquired "Extreme Slalom" pencil. Had a 7.4 KA up all day, first with an X-Cite 135, then the "pencil", then the 110 X-Cite. Thank to the Connewarre crew for introducing us to the lake - a great place to sail. Also, thanks Doug for the loan of the fin, and Red for the screw for the fin. Hard to sail without a fin. Thanks everyone for the company. I hope to get the photos up on the IWC Facebook page tomorrow.
