Stuarts Point, NSW, AU Thought I'd try Stuarts Point in a nor-easter. Well, it was as gusty as hell with anything from 5-15 knots. But warm, sunny and got too pull off a few gybes and work on tacks, so happy days. Wished I'd had the slalom board...

JP 101 FSW, 6.6 GP2.

Yamba, NSW, AU

7.3m Hot Sail GPS, 99L Falcon, 36cm Meanline

The Qld guys warned me how gusty the NE is at Whiting beach Yamba, and they weren't wrong. Second sail there and quite disappointed in the rough water and gusty NE wind. Just built the place (NE wind and smooth water) up in my mind - anyway, still awesome to be on the water and sailing in boardies. I can certainly see that if it was howling 25-30kn, and you lucked a gust past the small sand bar there could be some good scores though. Interestingly, my 5x10 is similar to yesterday, despite yesterdays 2sec peak being almost 2 kn faster - there's one of those lucky gusts - right place right time.

If it blows NE tomorrow like forecast, I am wavesailing at pippi beach, it is awesome there, and consistent.

Sailed with Nicole.

Equipment 90l naish quest wave and 5.8 gaastra grind. Bit underpowed but a good bump and jump day with a load of jibing

Yamba, NSW, AU

5.2 Hellcat, 92 FSW

Super gusty but fun in the gusts and good practice slogging on the small board in the many holes.  Same wind as Sunday, but optimistically took 5.2 yesterday yet went faster.  Have found a few times now that I am quicker comfortable on a smaller rig than overpowered with something bigger.  Very interesting.

Sandy was lovely, but so good to be home.  In boardies Wink

Booti Booti, NSW, AU Very flat conditions for up to 1km off shore but not quite enough wind. An easy days sailing.

Booti Booti Point, NSW, AU Nice arvo sail. Was hoping for a bit more wind.A shame the cloud cover killed it so soon.Anyway, good to be on water with the regulars.SL104 Vapor7.9 then GTX 6.5 with Select viper slam 37, then BP34 weedie.Very shallow today with the low tide.

Great to see a few marauders out on the water. I was stuck at work. Adam and Nic, you guys are going great up there in Yamba. Well done on your pb's Nic. Hopefully forecast for Friday comes good and we get another good n.easter and no storms. They Really killed the wind over the past few arvos.
