Phil Bennett (505km):
4401 days ago Queens Lake, NSW, AU Finally some good timing! Drove to Queens in a 5 knot westerly, unloaded the car then 15 knots of s-e rolls in. Sailed for 2.5 hours and the wind stoped just as I decide to head in -sweet. Got to give the new board a good run, and what a beast it is! Effortless on the plan and takes off like a scladed cat. Having troubles handling the speed from crawl to planing, but towards the end of the session could bite my way up-wind fairly well and not crash when looking for the rear straps. Totally different board to ride than the FSW! Amazingly slippery and so stable and bullet like. Surely will hit 30 plus knots next session- fingers crossed! And just think, I'm only 11 knots slower then the girl who previously owned it... ..lol
PS- Headed up towards the mud bank and spotted a fair sized post sticking out of the water. It's pretty solid, probably 4" by 4" and sticking up about 10 inches. Same size post as in the pic below, just not as high out. If Mark can up-load my tracks I'll try to describe where it is. It may no even be where you guys do your runs.
PS- Pic of board is not from todays session.
