Surprised by how much wind there was made, for a fun session. I will have to do some work on my alphas still not entering the zone at full speed and todays one ramped off when I pointed up at the end

Quick sail after work, wind was up and down but still good to get out and have a blast.

Heard the the grope vine that  the pinnas  were down doing the hour thang so thought it may be ok, by the time I got down there it was dropping of, so I rigged the speed kit and went out with the intention of doing the hr as well to back up Strop.

Soon as I hit the water I knew I'd rigged the right kit as the wind wasn't as strong as it feebly looked, the hour wasn't going to be impressive.

20 odd minutes into the hour, my 20min test mast decided to let go, 30+min 1.5km walk back starting in chest deep water was fun expecting the whole time to step on something nasty, almost did when  I scared (and was scared by) a decent sized stingray which didn't apreciate me sneeaking up on it.

Oh well, these things happen, got some exercise so all is not wasted.

Fun sail in the peel wind was on the way out the whole time i was out so pritty happy with my hour and i had 3 ploding sections nealy gave up because it was getting dodgy at the 40 min mark i saw elmo coming towards me i thought your going well elmo then  it happened snap crackel pop and elmo was now just another bit of sea litter i wish i had the camera on record he looked allright and gave me the thumbs up that he was allright so i kept sailing nice 2 get out after a big 9 days at work
