Primbee, NSW, AU     What can I say, had to post before the youngsters run over the top of me.

                                Christmas Day looks good, also tomorrow and Monday, a good way to finish the year.

                                 MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and a happy 2 second peak NEW YEAR.

Primbee, Lake Illawarra.  104l Fanatic Falcon, 6.6 Gaastra Nitro 4, 38 cm Makani Weed Fin, Neil Pryde X3 Boom that is no more - broke half way through the session and brought and end to the fun.  That's the second NP X3 that I've snapped at the head in the hydro-formed joint.  Any suggestings of a much stronger alternative?

Looking forward to another Noreaster, the 80l Fanatic and 19cm delta speed - should be able to access some of that smooth water with much great confidence than with a 38cm weed fin.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU ENE over 20 knots in the gusts

Club championship 4 and last racing for the year. A building NE. Went out on the formula board but it was horrible - very gusty with no chance to get comfortable. Switched over to the raceboard for the CC and eventually the 9.5 R2 sail. Fast and fun race. Several rescues put paid to a second race so went blasting on the raceboard - great fun!
