Herby (12064km):
4370 days ago Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU....Tried for a session before lunch, but just got stuck out in middle of lake with zero wind. Eventually got back and had lunch, then a bit of wind came so I went out again. Good for one run, then rain, then wind died so I came back in and racked off. All in all....not much fun.

I can't remember the last time I sailed down here in boardies. Nice to get out of the wetty.
Went out again as Jacques was leaving and the water was coming back in to try another fin but the wind had dissapeared.

Well, for a nice sale on a Friday afternoon, my 2 sec is a touch dissapointing considering I left the water with 26.48 on the old GT31. Never mind, expectations are exactly that. Good old rough and tumble Hollaways today, wind direction all over the place making it real hard sometimes to get on track at times. Tony was out on the water when I arrrived with the old Blue Blunderbuss with no foot straps - dont quite know how he does it. Freddy turned up after work to have a chat but by then the breeze had turned into Thomas the Tank Engine - the old "I think I can" and wasnt worth putting in the effort to go out.
A big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" goes out to Hoppybob today as well.
Any way, heres hoping the clouds disperse Sat/Sun and the wind blows true and strong and we can all get out and enjoy. Take care all.

4370 days ago Port Douglas, QLD, AU.Work sucked more than usual today, and it looked like i was going to have to burn the midnight oil..got a couple of messages on the ph saying lets go sailing, that was a good enough excuse for me to go missing in action... let the Falcon loose at about 4o'clock.nice breeze nice water..did a bit to much chatting and not enough sailing and the arvo turned into a bit of a social event..Simmie sailed to her usual high standard and followed me out into the big pool on several runs which was good to see..My outher mate 'Big Dog' bombed out early as he was nursing a sore sholder from a dirt bike wipeout,,,trying to catch me, which will never happen..Had some great runs with Chriss on his '111 Futura', today was the best i have seen him sail..My gyges were crap today, i was just to lazy to put much effort in to them..Over all a fun session.' 101 Falcon 7.3m wingspan 40cm fin'..Will try to catch up to the captian for a coffie tomorrow..Cheers Ed.
