Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

arrived at the beach and Billy was already sailing in what seemed a reasonable breeze....

set up similar size sail to what Billy was using and then the wind dropped out completly.

Firie turned up so we gas bagged for a while .....decided to venture out seen as I had set up.

Struggled for quite a while before some wind come back and we all went for a blast including

Peter. Wind was up and down but at least got a sail in.

KA72, Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Wind was howling at home so I took off to the beach before lunch, no wind but rigged up anyway and waited, about 2hrs. Wind came in but was gusty, good to sail with a few of the crew, scared the crap out of Billy one run, sorry mate. In one of the lulls I said bugger it and called it quits, happy with the day, MoJo's better Laughing

I'm hopping for some good numbers at Green ?

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU   Went down to dam about 10.30 this morning.    It was white with wind so I quickly pulled the Gunny Runner out, but by the time the fin was in, the wind dropped back to the usual and I knew it was a day for the 130l JP Slalom.    Rigged the Loft  6.6 02 and went out.    While I was rigging Capn. Kel turned up and set up his shade tent.   In the gusts I was flat out hanging on and in the lulls I was standing up.   Split the day into two sessions.    Spent a lot of time just watching Kel carve up the dam.     Firie, I think your long standing 2 sec record fell today.   Kel is a machine,

Very enjoyable day.

Lake Tinaroo!

Green Island seemed like too much hard work this morning so packed the van and headed up the hill, found the usual gusty shifty dam wind but had a fun sail with Herby, Hans and Bindy. Happy with a dam Pb for me and the fresh cool stinger free water was a welcome change from the beach.

Used 2012 Isonic 107 42 C3 Sting2 and Overdrive 7.5.Cool

More to come after a couple of rums

Edit; CA53, Vector DS25, 5.7 Koncept then Isonic44, Vector DSW 21, 5.7 Koncept, Lake George.

Started the day with a run around the islands and the spit with the CA53 before going back to 5 mile. Stopped a bit short for the hour but had a 33 NM down near the islands. Changed to the Isonic 44 after that and got a 41 on the second run. Kept trying but could only improve on that run by 0.02 for the rest of the day. Heaps of 40 knot runs and was really hoping to get the 40 average. Always next time if not in the next couple of days.

Good to catch up with some new and old faces.

Great going on the PB's Gaz....FANTASTIC !!.

Kel broke the dam speed record in winds that were trying to say the least. Arrived late at the dam (that's my excuse) and watched the Tinaroo Terrors carving up the water with our team captain and his bosses.
