Just Mick, Johnny and me sailing today. The wind looked like it was building but it actually started to die off early. Pretty gusty. 110 litre, 6.5 and 31 fin.

But still always good to be sailing.

Port Macquarie, NSW, AU, Sailed with Mark at Jordans. Ventured up to the entrance of limeburners creek, flatter water, will be good when windy. wind today approx 15kts ENE. Good to get wet again.

Booti Booti, NSW, AU .A frustrating day - tried the 6m GTX and then the 7m GTX. Not much wind inshore so had to go very wide. Still barely 15 - 18 knots and full of holes, so hard work. Still, a few planing runs makes it worthwhile. Just posting to add to my distance, not that it was much!

Had all the makings for a good NE wind, but ended up with a NNE -North wind, light in shore 12-15k, but better further out.About 15- 18km gusts, and lotsa weed.Could only suffer 2 long runs out and back.Bit too square to make for an easy ride home, and not well powered comin' home.Used Sl104 BP 34 weedy and 6.5GTX.

Bit of a fire upwind at Green Point made for some "Smokin' runs out back". Literally smell it out there!

Lots of smoke from another summer fire in the area. Not good.  Hard work today but more armchair sailing and great fun riding the flat rolling swells in "no man's land" A bit too weedy in spots.  Sailed with Pete, Chris,Rob, Bill and a blow-in.

Great sail at Queens Lake. Very consistent E-NE at 15-18 knots. Fully powered the entire sail , and happy with seventy km,s in only two hours.

Fanatic Ray 125, Gaastra 7.5m Gtx, Jp 36cm weedy.

Woohoo! My first post with actual speeds!! Didn't get to sail home turf, I was constantly underpowered and never felt comfortable, and know this result is no where near as good as I would like it, but managed to make the technology work whish is a plus!! I just wish I had better numbers to add...

I only had a small window of opportunity today, and a 6.6 was never big enough but it is my biggest kit so I perservered. Cant wait for the next big southerly at Canton to see what's possible. Promise I will get better numbers..:)
