Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Had a Nice few hours sailing with Steve. Rigged up to Big was over powered at the end of the session in the chop in the Middle of the Lake. Hit a Mullet with my fin & killed it. Came back on the next run & and One of the Local Eagles dived and grabbed it with its talons. It was trying to fly away from me but i was catch it. I got to about 10 meters from it before it decided to get more altitude. Wish I had a GOpro to film it. Was such and awesome sight.

I-Sonic 121, 7.5m VMG, JP 36cm Weed.

Steve was flying on the Mud Bank on the NE speed run!

Another great sail at Queens Lake with Mark. Ne 15-18 knots with a few gusts to 20. Sailed the mud bank , nice and smooth but a bit shallow.

F2 Sx medium, Hot sails Gps 6.6m, Jp 31cm weedy.

Aquatic Club Toukley, NSW, AU Repeat of yesterday Johnny, Pete, Gary and Mike. 8.3 Koncept 112 JP slalom 36 weedy and heaps of weed to go with it. Lake is very low at the moment with no surface weed just heaps of under growth. Tough Titties! Go Marauders!!

Booti Booti, NSW, AU. Lovely NE started early and stronger than yesterday, 18 - 22 knots. 7m and 102 Falcon sat really fine on the water. Speedy weed bank very shallow but working for a change. Good fun with 8 people on water, and sailing till tired rather than till the wind drops off. Did change a little more northerly and got shifty on the inside, but later in the day so had enough before then.

Jordan's boating Centre, Port Macquarie, NSW, AU.

Stamina is building for sailing this spot, getting better at sailing here and picking the spots to gybe which take up less energy.......there was way less chop as for a chunk of the time the tide had just turned and was still pretty well swell free, until the last 1/2 hr.

used 8m GPS + 113 falcon and 40cm Meanline.

Some nice planing runs, but a tad more wind would have made it great.

Sailed with Mark and Greg

Booti Booti Point , NSW, AU

Another nice day at the "office".Got a bit more NE in the wind earlier, which meant more wind inshore.Didn't last too long though. About 2 hrs. later it went more NNE.So 15-20k, with a bit more out wide again today.Sooo flat close inside and even a bit further out than usual with the low tide, but needed more wind.Had to settle for another choppy powered up ride out back.

Still waiting for that elusive stronger wind inshore!SL104 MUF weed speed 17 GTX6.5.Swapped fins after 2 or 3 runs.Board too wide for this fin.Better with a narrower board I think.BP34 worked better.Changed to SL79 with Vector 27 weed speed, and same rig. Nice combination , and Love this fin. So much bite through the chop and felt fast too. last session on the SL104, just for the hell of it.Wind had eased off again and went out wide.

Sailed with Geoff, Chris the two Peters, Rob, Bill and Ella and another blow-in.Overall a better session than yesterday

Queens Lake (Sailing Club), NSW, AU

Gave it another go, ribs/breathing still giving me some problems, it's so frustrating things are taking so long to heal.

Very short session, every one counts though. You were flying Steve! I was watching from the sailing club side, I enter the water just as MarkH left I think.

I agree Raf, every sail counts (towartds fun, sailing and mental fitness). Good to see you get back on the water mate despite the pain - hope it gets easier for you soon
