DazzaJ (3270km): Sandy Point, Vic, AU Fun day out at the pit. Had a sail and board in mind and was rigging it despite the conditions. It was right for some of the time!! iSonic 49, Severne Reflex III 5.6, Slingshot 21 http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=37797&tid=0

Cirrus Flyer (481km): Elwood, VIC, AU, Starboard 104 S-Type, NP RS3-6.2M, C3 Venom 36. Ave 15 Knots gusting 17 to 18 knots South West. Great session out in the chop. Been a long time since I sailed in the bay. Totally differnt technicque compared to flat water sailing. Had to lower the boom and flatten the sail out to maintain control over the bay swell. Got airborne a few times (un-intentionally). I'm used to to doing 27knots average speeds in this kind of wind on flat water. Feels totally out of control when swerving and carving over and around the bay sweel at only 23 knots average. No time to look at what everyone else is doing. Totally focussed on on reading and navigating the swell while on the plane and in the straps to make sure I dont get launched. Good fun exploring the back areas near the main channel. BIG swells. Short but full-on session. Tiring but good fun all the same.
Old Salty (1642km): Elwood, VIC, AU Xcite 120, Venom 36, Koncept 6.6 SW 15 - 20 kts Elwood. have not sailed the bay for 10 yrs! Not the right sail for big swell and chop but had fun anyway. Heaps of practise on waterstarting. Good fun sailing down the face into flat water and getting airborne unintentionally
Naz (2410km): Elwood, VIC, AU RPS help session. http://ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=37843&tid=0 110 Cross, 6.6 koyote, 34 fin Excellent turnout and a lot of fun. 6.6 was a bit much when the wind kicked up a coulpe of notches. Made for some great jumps; I even landed a few Thanks to Adrian & Warrick.
