Another light wind day,

Beachport, SA, AU around the bay for a blast from surfbeach, SW 8 to 12, good swell and choppy.

F2 stoke 117, 6.6 KA Koncept, 36 jp weedy,

was a bit of a waste of time but I was there so thought what the hell, quite surprised I even got planing, got caught in the impact zone once with zero wind was lucky to come out with all gear intact,

was good to do something different than the lake today but the light wind made me look very ordinary today, had to uphaul a few times and in the swell and chop that was a mission.

Sunday looks like we will have some seabreezes back.

Just got to get 6 nights out of the way and then I have some time off.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU  WSW 20+ knots

Too westerly for comfortable sailing. The wind strength and direction seems to create very choppy conditions with no lengthy troughs in which to sail. Always in danger of getting airborne in the choppy conditions. The water was flatter in behind the reedbeds and got some reasonable speeds by manouvering in there for 5 runs or so

Stansbury, SA, AU S/W 15-20knots

Arrived mid afternoon and Tricky and Simon were already blasting inside the spit. Rigged the 6.6 KA and Sputnik and joined in the fun. Tricky was fast and so was Simon with his new sail combo and great afternoon was had. Only a short session as we saved some juice for tomorrow when conditions should be the same.

Holiday session at Goolwa.  Unfortunately the gps stopped logging after the first half hour(2+ hr session) and I forgot to bring the second GT31.  Wind picked up later in the session so it was a shame not to capture the data.  Had some nice runs and laydowns near the aquacaf and was able to sail quite close to the paddle steamer and steamranger/warf.  Good training session to condition the body and toughen the palms for Lake George. A bigger fin would have been a better option in the chop.

Goolwa, 15-20

MrL 112 - Evo4 7.8 - Vmax 39

Had a few GPS glitches with the tracks logged as occuring yesterday...
