Wind started  lightish but filled in later...but the 7.8 felt good, though the 7.0 may have been the go later. Top speed was with the Choco 36...plenty of the team out on a pleasant Perth afternoon...

Good little morning session to get back into it after missing out all this week :-( breeze was good for the first 30mins then up and down

Futura 111, Lightning 7.8 & 32 Vector Weedie - Wasn't going to make the same mistake as yesterday, so rigged big. In hind sight the 7.0 would of been great for both days. Managed to cut my foot on the way to the water, then ignored it and promptly set off without my harness.  Not a good start! Back to the car, dressed the cut and headed back out, this time with a harness! Couldn't get upwind with multiple spin outs, OK I guess the fin is a bit small for the 7.8. Was getting well powered for the 7.8, so more downhaul and all of a sudden the fin was great and going upwind was a breeze!! Very gusty and the arms are a bit longer now!

Couldn't get comfortable on anything today.  Still good to sail in the sun and good company on the beach.

7M T Bird 6.5M TBird with .5M Gaffa tape, 109 Naish Titan LE Weedie, then 94Lt Exocet Cross with FW Weedie

Then 6.5 T4 & 94Lt Exocet Carbon & 36 Vecta - Nelson forced me to take his gear

All the good stuff done on my 94 & 7m Tbird except the gybe on the Naish

Frustrating day but now I am ready for more tomorrow

Couldn't get anything to feel right with either set-up, I was about to pack up & go home but decided to rig the 6.5M T-bird with the 94L Cross & try the new 36 Vector

Perfect set-up, top speed on my first run out, gybing like a dream, could do anything wrong, what a difference
