Canton Beach, NSW, AU Took Oscar out for another sail today. Little strong for him today but he did a few long runs which put abig smile on his face. Johnny, Pete, Karl, Jeff and Rob. Thanks for the delivery of sail Rob and nice repairs. Southerly died real quick. Oscar was on 3.3 sailworks and 76 Hypersonic 28 weedy I had 8.3 Koncept 112 Jp slalom 36 Jp weedy and took Hypersonic for a blast. Go Marauders !!

Queens Lake, NSW, AU -  Falcon 99( Thanks Adam), 6.7 overdrive, 34cm meanline. Heaps of Guys out, when i arrived Adam and others contemplating going out, Phill, Mark and Steve + 6 others sailing already, planing in gusts bobbing when in the lulls. I was keen to go but bonly brought my 82lt with me, forecast and wind in Port read 15-20kts. Actual wind at Queens was 0-15kts. Adam was kind enough to lend me his 99lt Falcon. That board flies!! Thanks Mate.

Great to see so many on the water.

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

8m HSM GPS + 113 Falcon Slalom and 40cm Meanline

Collected lots of ribbon weed on the Meanline - should have gone a weedy today. Fun in the gusts, got a couple of good ones in the right place at the right time - but they were few and far between. A lot of slogging and sometimes glassy conditions too. Lots of sailors on the water today.......most I have seen at Queens ever. Wind not strong as forecasted, but great to be on the water which was so warm - sailed in boardies.

Cheeky Dion even overtook me once (maybe twice) whilst sailing one of my boards. You were scooting along on the 99 mate.

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Not enough litres under my feet, not enough sqm in my hands, too many kgs around my waist!! Great to meet the guys today, thanks for the hospitality. Thanks to Phil for giving me all the good info for this area. Two decent gusts for my kit all day, but had a ball anyway. Thanks to Raf for the blasts on the Kona One, what great fun that was in the gusts. Hit a speed of 23.71 knots on the beast!!

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Sailed with Steve,Adam,Adam,Phil,Dion,Raf,Charles,Jamie plus 3 other guys. All up 12 sailors.

Only took small gear & was under powered. Had a great time sailing with so many people. Just wish it was a constant breeze.

I-Sonic 101, 6.7m VMG, 31 JP Weed.

Queens Lake, NSW, AU Great day at Queens, so many out! Good yarns with the crew at the Bob's Creek Office. The only bit of a downer was the super gusty, light winds- oh, and having to go to bloody work right when the wind was starting to build tad. But still fun in the gust on the JP FSW (albeit slow) and got to play around with my scetchy gybes. Will get them sorted one day!

Nice to meet ya Jamie. Good to have yarn- and cheers for the run on your new JP. Sweet board mate, basically a looser version of mine. Hope you get to use up here in the suds during your stay.

Great speeds there Adam and Milsy!! Well done guys!!Couldn't get out today. Wind didn't look like it was strong enough either today, with the rain, so I sat this one out.

 GO MARAUDERS!!

Got lucky on two nice gusts Steve and ran them downwind on Port Tack - felt nicely powered on the 8m downwind so they were fair gusts - just in the right place right time - johnny on the spot I was. Ran a big pointer too like Sam told me to try and the 113 floated straight over the chop and in control like he said it would - was nice to be on a pointer out there again (despite the weed spin outs) and will fiddle with this strategy again next sail.

Had a ball at Queens Lake, very gusty but still had fun. Kona One + 7.5 Ezzy Freeride was a good choice for my heavy weight today, more sessions like this and I'll be fit, no pains anywhere which was great. Quite a few nice planing runs and the Kona was fully lit riding on its stepped tail. Wasn't expecting the wind to turn up as it did, lesson learnt, always wear my GPS!

Glad to see you had a smile on your dial Jamie, I can relate with too small a gear, Kona is too easy to ride eh?! Biggest gathering of windsurfers I've seen at Queens to date, top effort everyone. Met a few new faces too who are relatively new in the area I believe such as Adam (not AJ) and Charles and another I didnt catch his name. David apparantly got me on his GoPro, would love to see that mate! The regulars were there MarkH, AdamE, Steve, Phil and Dion. Nice speed AdamE, pulled that one out of the hat! Wow!

Jamie, A good SE is great at Q/Lake. You can get 3 km runs. W,SW, ENE,NE,SSE are all good. Yeah no boats no Kites to worry about. You get the whole Lake to yourself. It was the Biggest Crowd we have had at Q/Lake ( 12 Sailors )

Cheers!
