Aquatic club Toukley, Pissing down rain ENE 10/20+. Lake has risen heaps so our flat water was gone. Johnny and I hit it just before 5pm. Been waiting all day for it to blow its ass off but just didnt happen. Maybe tomoz??? 6.6 koncept 92 jp slalom 29 weedy.

After running down to Queens Lake and sitting like a shag in the rain for an hour, I decided it wasnt gunna happen down there. 30-40kn pigs arse!

Headed up to the Jordo speed strip, at the 430 low tide, but with all the excess fresh in the water the sanbank never popped for us - in fact nowhere near it, we could sail right over the top easily. Used the biggest board I had (remembering it was gunna be 30-40kn), but at 79Litres, she didnt shlog too well with my 92kg when the gusts werent there. When the gusts came in I was still underdone but glad to be on the water despite the dogsh1t forecast. DID THREE LAPS ONLY

Sailed with Dion who was as fast as a bastard on his black missile - you were smokin fella - thanks for the encouragement to get out, if you hadnt showed up I prob wouldnt have bothered.
