Lyttelton Harbour, NZ

Quick blast on the harbour. Nothing extreme. Water getting quite warm - almost boardies weather.

Closing in on the 5000 milestone.

6.5, Flow etc.

Loooong time between posts...all good..waves have ruled of late.

Many thanks to Adam from MidCoast Marauders for the loan of the board

So enjoyed the sail..but very unfit,  So many times very on the edge..just not slalom fit, bailed once.. looking forward to the new gear arrivingTongue out

Well done Gmac. My Falcon 99 now has a new PB speed - it's just that I didnt ride it when it was going that fast.......that's ok tho, a few weeks in therapy should see me through it!

Good one for taking the 99 out - big board (and fin) for the wind but you controlled it well.

Pretty decent speed mate, right up there at the top of the ladder for guys who sailed Queens today. Imagine how you will go when slalom fit!!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing you at Queens more now that windy winter is coming up. So are you transferring to the MArauders or staying a viking?

@Adam...dont know about the control....you saw the bail out once...but massive thanks for the board and fin

The way you sailed..I am sure you can better that speed on that board...30cm fin and happy days. I'll loan you some fin bolts if you like Surprised

Will say you had the 79 knailed today..congrats on the 37's

Yep looking forward to more....just need some gear.....but you know i have that sorted...SealedWink

Not only that Ragnar, but he comes in on borrowed or new gear and also scores 3rd fastest session ever recorded on our lake. Check out the details on the Mid North Coast Marauders thread (near the bottom) for Saturday.

We all have to try a bit harder on our home turf now as the bar is lifting

Eric: Fin bolts are over rated - you have proven that you can get good speed with one bolt in a tuttle
