Golden Beach, QLD, AU  Very windy day.  Low tide wasnt low enough though so was very choppy.  Rigged 5.0 and to start with thought it might not be enough but after about half and hour wind really came in strong from the SSE.  Raining the whole time so not that pleasant but still always great to be on the small stuff.

Lyttelton Harbour, NZ

Champagne sailing on the harbour after work. In fact, I worked a nine hour day today and was able sail 60ks afterwards. How civilised daylight saving is.

Nice numbers Kellie although sailing in the rain stings your eyes somewhat. Catch you at Burrum in a couple weeks.

low tide is 12.04pm  0.9m so not that low.  Was a 1m low today and sand banks hardly came out of the water.  Wind was really good though but totally out of control by the time the tide had only been coming in for 1/2 hr as big chop ramps started appearing really fast. so probably best to try for about 1-2 hrs before low tide
