Primbee, Lake Illawarra.  Fanatic Falcon 80, MUF Delta Speed 19, Gaastra Nitro 4 6.6

Lots of standing around waiting and rain squalls ruined the wind but then rewarded with a beatiful 10 minute burst of wind, enought for a PB top speed.

Primbee, NSW, AU        A afternoon chat and sail with Mark, not John, Peter, Tex, Phil and Mark.

Same conditions as yesterday, wet and windy.

Same board and sail and same parking spot.

                                    Tomorrow could be the same.

Mark - the fin was faultless today, particularly on the bearaways - complete solid, tracking like and arrow - instilled complete confidence.  It was also surprisingly good tracking back upwind through some minor chop - not one spinout and achieved plenty of upwind angle.  However, on the same setup in a noreaster, I was getting plenty of spinouts in the chop as I headed further out into the lake off Primbee.  Not sure why the difference in performance today - I think I am learning to be gentler on the fin and have been setting the boom higher to take more weight though the harness and therefore mastfoot, rather than through the legs.

Rob - know the feeling - blame the wind today - it was all over the place!!
