Well I say a 30 on the dial is still a 30, maybe it didn't quite last for 2sec, but not far off.

And to prove it here's herby's gps after he came in, we all thought it was a fantastic sight.

Folks,   The thrill of at least hitting 30  would not have been possible without all the support I have received   since arriving here at Beachport which is the town beside Lake George.   

Anne and Mal fed me every night,    Dottie fed me and made endless coffee,  Mike lent me his prized Herby fin and offered heaps of advice, PJ for his personal support,  Sammy for his encouragement and JimBob (Mr Fixit) for his friendship,,  being my personal caddy and even giving me a fin .    I know I missed some, but I just say thanks.

Looks like a selling price at a shop Herby...$29.99. Tomorrow's the day, another of those downwinders and you'll be aiming for 35 knots. Realspeed and GPS Action Replay  give 29.99 knots and GPS Results says 30.081 knots

Oh so close! I had to wait nearly a year after getting my first 30 display until I got my 30 2 sec. I hope yours comes much sooner.

Keep on trying, and yes, a big part is knowing how to go about it.
