Day 1 - Sail rigged like a pig!! Last time i used it was here in Jan. Daffy helped tune it for my KA SDM mast. That mast is now in pieces due to a few sessions in the surf back home. Replaced it with RDM masts and didnt think at the time that it would affect my speed sail !! Have sourced some spacers for tomorrow so hopefully should be much better.
Was massively underpowered off the wind. Only thing my gear was suitable for today was across the wind... hence good 1hr.
Went for some alphas with the new guy cribb footwork. Gybes were awesome all day.. except... all had 52-55radius so didnt count!!! damn it!!
Fingers crossed for more wind tomorrow.
