Herby (12064km):
4323 days ago Lake George, SA, AU Looked like big wind (for me) on the way so borrowed Gaz's 4.4m Koncept and used the Gunny runner. Had trouble staying upwind and spent most of the session ground. JimBob suggested I follow him thru between the islands which I attempted. Bit of a wind shadow for a short distance and pulled back foot out. When I sailed into the wind again, the board took off and I catapulted over the front (very spectacular, I have been told). Ended up on my back on top of the sail watching stars for a while and thinking "well at least I can breathe" Seemed like every sailor on the lake stopped, (probably to congratulate me on the getoff), but I was stuffed. After a while I managed to sail a bit closer to beach and started the long plod in, but Jimbob and Gaz gave me valuable assistance. (forever gratefull Guys). Not over yet, when I got back to car I have one shin belching blood and under all the sand etc my right instep had a nasty gash on it. Luckilly PJ was on hand and dressed it al lup for me and advised I have it checked. Good advice, cause the Doc at Millicent whacked in 4 stitches, + tetanus, +local anisthetic.
Am I having fun at Lake George....?????Well apart from the injuries the answer is a big yes.
Edit .....Yippee!!!! 2 PBs!!!!!. Was it worth it???? My bloody oath it was!!!!!

4322 days ago Lake George, CA53, Vector delta 25, 5.7 Koncept/Isonic 44, Vector DSW21, 5.0 Koncept
Spent most of the day on the 5.7 and big board until the wind picked up. Did the speed runs on the 5.0 and isonic but wasn't powered up enough, should have stayed with the 5.7.
Good to see Herby get through the day without to much damage and well done to Jamie and PJ for helping him out.
Nice to finish off with a few drinks at the pub and a couple of rums with Jimbob.
