Hardie (20239km): Wavesailing Avalon, nice swell early, boy am I unfit, speedsailing where ya have a rest after each run, or alpha attempt, look at ya GPS and ponder the universe, is very lazy windsurfing/sailing, makes for one unfit fat bastard, no wonder a lot of old blokes do speedsailing | ||||||||||||||||||

Elmo (15665km): Tabou Thunder 80cm, NP RSR Eiii 8.6m, JP Weed 42cm. Mandurah Drags, As usual posted about the event, what day, what time and as per my muppetism I was the last to turn up missing the first race, Dickhead Followed Benders sage advise and rigged with Pedro had rigged, good advise that. Got out for the second race, no tweaks just take it as it was, missed the start with my sail the wrong way when I noticed everyone launching, Hmmmm a silencer on the starting gun, sneaky flipped sail hopped up and and got going without to much fuss. as Bender had continually reminded me in the lead up, there was only one person I was racing, and it was good close racing with little difference in pace. The run out to the platform in all races was a doddle, but the extra west in the breeze made the return leg interesting, first run had a extra couple of tacks in it to get back. Second and third race I washed of a bit of speed by pinching hard to get back on one leg. End of the day I believe it may have been 2:1 with the Bent one destroying me in the last race. Great day out good turn out with lots of grins, these are always a fun event. Thanks Reg for a fun day.
