Yes the spike seems to be strange, if that is what it was. GPS said I did a 33.56 max speed on the day and I would have thought that 2 sec. run of somewhere near that wold have been a possibility. No catapult.......just sheer acceleration & speed (lol). Strange indeed! GSP worn on arm.

Dear Marauders. I am planning 2 sailing trips for the next 12 months. 2 weeks in Sandy Point in Oct, and 2 weeks in Lake George feb 2014 if the water levels are ok there then. Just wanted to float the dates and see if anyone else is interested in a trip at the same time - always more fun sailing with people in ya team rather than by yourself. Ponder it and let me know specifically for Sandy Point, October will be here before we know it. Last years sandy trip was fun. Only sailed 4 times in two weeks tho, but the sailing was quality. Used everything from my falcon 113 and 8m down to my falcon 79 and 5.5m. If I wasn't such a pussy I would have sailed THE BIG Day with Byron, Nick and Greg. After sailing the second big day on my 5.5 I know I should have just gone out on the BIG day at least for a few runs would have been big PBS for sure that day, and it would have been 5 quality sails in 2 weeks Cheers AJE

Iam a starter , Sandy point might fly down when it looks good , going to take 3 weeks of in Feb and head down to the lake george
