Down in Husky for racing this weekend and managed to get down early enough to get a sweet slalom sail in at Sanctuary Point boat ramp. Spent some time down in the weed beds (Thanks for the hints Keith!) but couldnt get any powered runs on the little weed fin. Switched back to a pointer and felt heaps better. Even scored an alpha PB which I am really happy about - have been trying to crack 20 forever. Looking at the tracks the alpha was actually upwind of the boat ramp, not in the weed beds.
Great to sail with Keef and Jase from the Gustbusters, and my formula mate Rick Turner at the end.
